Hi,
I have the same problem while starting xampp. I am trying to start lampp on Rasbian which is a modified version of Debian for Raspberry Pi computer.

XAMPP/LAMPP is compiled for Intel x86 and IA64 family of processors (as I said in the posts you referenced). You need an Apache (and everything else) compile for ARMv6. (I suspect our other friends had Itanium processors.). XAMPP allows you to install this software and control whether you want to activate and start the Apache server necessary to run and execute PHP code and MySQL, necessary if your website has an interaction with databases, such as WordPress.

Here is the error:
Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.8.0..
/opt/lampp/share/lampp/phpstatus: line 4: /opt/lampp/bin/php: cannot execute binary file
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL ..

XAMPP: Error 2! Couldn't start Apache!
XAMPP: Starting diagnose..
XAMPP: Sorry, I've no idea what's going wrong.
XAMPP: Please contact our forum http://community.apachefriends.org/f/

Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) is a set of free and open technologies for instant messaging, multi-party chat, voice and video chat, and more. This guide will show you how to setup your own XMPP chat service on Ubuntu or Debian using the Prosody XMPP server.

Use this guide to configure dynamic DNS on your raspberry pi if you would like to connect to a named domain. This is most likely essential if you are hosting your pi from your home.

Prosody should already be in your distribution’s the repositories.

Here is a great list of public XMPP servers and the extensions that they support.

On our server, let’s enable all of the modules that the Conversations app supports.

First, install mercurial:

Xampp On Raspberry Pi

Go into /usr/lib/prosody

In /etc/prosody/prosody.lua.config, add below the admin line plugin_paths = { '/usr/lib/prosody/prosody-modules' }
